An injection-molded plastic set of figures in 1:35 scale from the range devoted to the Second World War, from Master Box. The set captures a scene at a crossroads on the Eastern Front with Soviet and German soldiers. It is intended to be assembled and painted; it is not a model of a vehicle but a set of characters for dioramas and display-case scenes.
The Eastern Front was a vast and bloody battlefield between Germany and the Soviet Union in the Second World War. A scene at a crossroads where soldiers of both sides meet is a typical narrative subject that lets the differing uniforms and armament stand out. The characters serve well for building an atmospheric scene with equipment.
This is an injection-molded plastic set to be assembled and painted. Separate the parts from the sprue with sharp side nippers and glue them with thin cement for plastic applied with a brush, which draws the joints together nicely. Before painting it pays to spray on a basic primer so that the paint holds better. The faces and the uniforms stand out after painting with a subtle emphasis by a wash and a dry brush; an airbrush as well as a classic brush suits. The characters can be used together as a scene or separately in a diorama.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
