About product

Dingo Mk.Ib/Mk.III wheel masks 1:35 (Quickwheel)

A set of Quickwheel masking stencils for painting the wheels of the British Dingo armored scout car in the Mk.Ib and Mk.III versions in 1:35 scale. The masks are cut precisely from a flexible material and their shape matches the wheels of this particular subject. You push the wheel into the opening in the mask, the mask wraps around the rim and exposes only the rubber tire (or the other way round), so the paint goes on cleanly and without overspray.

Use

  • Push the wheel into the matching opening in the mask and seat it
  • Make the mask follow the surface by tracing the recesses with a wooden stick
  • Spray the tire or rim shade, ideally with an airbrush
  • Remove the wheel once the paint is dry; after cleaning, the masks can be used again

Who it is for

For modelers building the Dingo armored scout car in 1:35 scale who want a clean separation between the color of the tire and the rim and who want to save time compared with painting them by hand. The set is prepared exactly for the wheels of this subject.

This is a masking accessory, not a model and not a paint. The masks are tied to the wheels of this type in this scale.
