Unmanned aerial vehicles in 1:35 scale as an accessory to figures and hardware. A small element that pins a scene unmistakably to the present day.
Responsibility details are not available.
Over a few years unmanned aerial vehicles have become an ordinary part of military and civilian practice, and in modeling they have become an element that fixes the period of a scene as unmistakably as the type of vehicle does. A small machine laid on the armor or made ready for launch moves a whole scene into the present without your having to change anything else.
Unmanned aerial vehicles in 1:35 scale, that is in the same scale in which figures and models of hardware are built. Thanks to that they can be set into a scene already in progress without recalculating sizes. The details of the version and the number of pieces are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
These are tiny parts, so set your work up over a surface from which you will find them if they drop, and use tweezers with a fine tip. Thin the paint and apply it in thin coats; a heavy coat on a small part floods the edges and all that is left of the fine shapes is a formless lump. A matte varnish is in order, because gloss makes a small object look bigger and shows up every irregularity. Free the surface of dust and of grease from your fingers before painting. The particular procedure for preparing and joining the parts is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Into present-day scenes beside figures and hardware alike: on the bed or the armor of a vehicle, on the ground next to the operator, in the hands of a figure. Because the machine is small, it works best where it has open space around it and the viewer notices it as the point of the scene, not as another object in a heap. Prepare the paints and glue separately, unless stated otherwise.
