A resin set of accessories from the Czech manufacturer Firma49 in the popular diorama scale of 1:35. It contains castings of Soviet canteens as carried by the soldiers of the Red Army in the Second World War. This is not a kit but a detail in its own right, with which you can complete the equipment of figures, the load beds of vehicles or the scene of a diorama. Working with resin assumes some basic experience.
The canteen was a basic part of the personal equipment of a Soviet soldier. It was an elongated sheet-metal vessel with a screw cap, usually in a cloth cover and with a loop for the belt. It accompanied the infantry and vehicle crews throughout the conflict.
Wash the castings free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand away any flash (protect your airways). Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Once the primer is sprayed on, the metal of the vessel looks good in shades of steel or aluminum and the cloth cover in khaki and olive tones; a fine wash will emphasize the folds and the cap.
The accessory is supplied as unpainted resin castings. Glue, paints and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
