German 20mm Flak 38 crews is an injection-molded plastic set of figures of the crew of a German 20 mm anti-aircraft gun in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of injection-molded plastic figures shows the crew of the German light anti-aircraft gun 2 cm Flak 38 of the Second World War. The figures are caught in typical crew poses at the weapon and serve to bring a diorama or a standalone artillery scene to life. It is a set of figures, not a model of the gun: the weapon itself and its mount are not included in the package.
The 2 cm Flak 38 was the standard German light anti-aircraft gun, deployed with ground units, on vehicles and on ships. It was used to defend against low-flying aircraft, but also to fire on ground targets. Its crew was made up of several soldiers who handled aiming, loading and replenishing ammunition, and those are exactly the scenes the set captures.
Separate the parts carefully from the sprue with a sharp knife and sand the parting lines. They are glued with a thin cement for plastic. Tone the uniforms according to the period and the theater, in field gray feldgrau or in tropical or later shades. The folds of the cloth and the faces come out with washes and light drybrushing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
