A turned metal barrel for the 37 mm Pak 35/36 anti-tank gun (early version, 1:35) from Aber. A metal replacement for the plastic barrel on models of the German light anti-tank gun.
Responsibility details are not available.
This precisely turned metal barrel replaces the plastic barrel in a base model. It offers a concentric tube with the correct run of the taper and a finely turned muzzle, which a plastic part cannot match. It is a detail accessory, not a kit of the gun. Made by Aber, 1:35 scale.
The 3.7 cm Pak 35/36 was the standard German light anti-tank gun of the early Second World War. Against more heavily armored tanks it proved weak, earning the nickname door knocker, yet it served on many fronts and became the basis for later weapons. The early version differed in the details of the barrel and its mounting.
This is an accessory (a metal barrel), not a model in itself. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
