About product

Aber 1:35 German clasps and tool clamps (photo-etched detail set)

This product is not a kit and not a finished model — it is a set of fine photo-etched metal parts from the Polish maker Aber for the faithful mounting of tools on models of German armored vehicles of the Second World War in 1:35 scale. The item is listed by the manufacturer as 2nd choice, which means it may have minor cosmetic deviations.

What the set is for

The tools on German armored vehicles are held by period metal clasps and clamps, which look coarse and oversized in plastic. The photo-etched set brings thin clasps with faithful catches and straps, with which the tools can be attached realistically to the hull, or one clasp can even be made open.

Building tips

Glue the photo-etched clasps with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Bend the fine tabs gently with tweezers. Degrease the metal before painting and lay down a primer. Because of the size of the parts, a steady hand and good lighting are needed.

Who the set is for

  • Advanced modelers of German armor in 1:35
  • Builders looking for faithful tool mounting instead of plastic
  • Modelers who do not mind the second quality grade

The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
