Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic figure set in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The box contains figures of a German artillery crew for the heavy field howitzer s.FH 18 in poses of serving the gun. The enclosed optional parts make it possible to build the figures in different stances and to adapt them to a particular scene.
The 15 cm s.FH 18 heavy field howitzer was the basic gun at the level of German divisional artillery in the Second World War. The combination of range, mobility and the effect of a heavy shell made it an important weapon of the infantry divisions. The figures capture the crew at the typical tasks of serving the gun, such as loading, laying and handling the ammunition.
Separate the figures from the sprue, clean up the mold seams and glue them with thin cement for plastic. Apply primer before painting. The set is meant to enliven an artillery scene, so it pays to match the colors of the uniforms and kit to the gun model and to the base. Paint the faces and hands in layers, and add shadows and wear to the uniforms.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
