This is a resin detail set, not a vehicle kit. It contains a set of clamps for securing an entrenching shovel to the hull of German armored vehicles of the Second World War, in a quantity for five vehicles. The fine resin parts capture the real shape of the clamps, including the wing nuts, which on plastic are usually only suggested.
Tool clamps are among the small but conspicuous features on the sides and fenders of a vehicle. Faithful clamps raise the realism of the stowed shovel and refine the look of the hull as a whole. A package for five vehicles suits batch building and dioramas alike.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and separate them from the supports carefully, as they are small. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Bring out the metal of the clamps with a dry brush and a wash.
