A German tank crew at rest in 1:35 scale brings resin figures in relaxed poses without weapons.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resting crew is among the most rewarding subjects for an armor diorama: no movement, no weapons, but expression and a relaxed stance instead. This set of resin figures captures German tankers at the moment when the headgear can come off and a man can lean against the armor.
The crews of German armored vehicles wore a short black blouse outfit with large lapels, designed so that it would not catch on the inside of the fighting compartment. As the war went on, working variants in sturdy fabric in gray-green and sand colors were added to it, so a scene need not necessarily be black. A characteristic part of the equipment was a side cap or a field cap, and with some of the men a headphone set with a cord running to the vehicle.
Free the parts of release agent with a lukewarm bath with detergent and let them dry thoroughly. Cut the casting remnants off with a saw, not with nippers, which shatter the material. Sand wet and with a mask. Before painting comes a thin primer; without it the shade is easily rubbed off the smooth surface during handling.
The vehicle, a base and paints are not in the package.
