About product

1:35 Glasses - German army, Second World War, a resin set (Firma49)

This is not a kit but a small resin accessory for figure builders. The set contains miniature castings of glasses in 1:35 scale on the theme of the German army of the Second World War period. They serve to shape the character of infantry figures or crews, as adding glasses gives a figure individuality and a story.

Use

  • Adding glasses to the face or onto the helmet of a figure.
  • Bringing portrait detail to life on a diorama.
  • Setting individual figures apart in a scene.

Tips for working it

Separate the very small parts from the casting blocks with the greatest care, wash the mold release agent off and work with tweezers over a mat. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The frames can be picked out with a thin brush and the lenses suggested with a gloss clear coat.

Who the set is for

  • For advanced figure builders and diorama makers.
  • For collectors of German Second World War subjects.
  • For lovers of the finest detail.

The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
