This resin replacement part from ELEFANT represents the front radiator grille of the GMC CCKW truck, the pattern 2 execution, in 1:35 scale. The casting replaces the plastic part of the base kit with a more faithful and finer rendering of the louvers and the frame. The part is intended for models of the GMC CCKW truck.

Use

  • A replacement for the factory front radiator grille with a more faithful resin part.
  • Greater realism at the front of the vehicle, especially under close lighting.
  • Suitable for superdetailing diorama and display-case models.

Work procedure

  • Separate the part from the casting block and clean up the seating surfaces.
  • Wash the mold release agent off and check the fit.
  • Glue with cyanoacrylate; treat the surface with primer and paint with an airbrush.
