About product

Hinges in 1:35 scale (Royal Model)

A photo-etched set of fine hinges in 1:35 scale from the Italian manufacturer Royal Model. It is not a model but a universal accessory for superdetailing. The metal hinges are useful for representing hatches, small doors, crates, tool boxes and other moving parts on military vehicle models and in dioramas.

Use

  • Cut the parts from the fret and clean up the edges.
  • Glue the hinges in place, or assemble them into a working joint.
  • Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with glue for photo-etched parts.
  • Degrease the metal parts and prime them before painting.

Who the set is for

For more experienced modelers and diorama builders in 1:35 scale who want to replace coarse plastic hinges with fine metal ones.

The accessory is supplied as a set of photo-etched parts. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
