Home wallpapers in 1:35 scale for building interior scenes. They serve as a covering for the walls of a diorama, against which figures and furniture come into their own.
Responsibility details are not available.
An interior diorama stands or falls on its walls. A bare wall of card or plastic reads as empty and draws attention away from the figures, whereas a wall with wallpaper gives away at once what kind of household the scene is set in and in what period. This set offers exactly that wall covering, prepared in 1:35 scale.
1:35 is the most widespread format of figures and military vehicles. An adult measures around five centimeters in it and an ordinary door two meters high comes out at just under six centimeters. Plan the height of the wall accordingly: if a stretch of open surface is to show above the heads of the figures, count on a wall higher than seven centimeters, or the scene will feel cramped.
First assemble and stiffen the walls themselves, and only then transfer the wallpaper onto them. Trim the pieces to size and lay them dry; run the joins where furniture or the corner of the room will later hide them, so that they are not visible at first glance. Keep the background quieter than the foreground so that it does not pull attention to itself. The exact method of gluing and any surface treatment are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The set will be used by builders of interior scenes and display case corners, where the wall shows most, and also by anyone building a view into a shelled house or a workshop. It also suits bringing a single figure on a small base to life.
Figures, furniture, vehicles and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
