The set from the Czech maker Firma49 holds a 3D printed resin model of the ten-ton jack that belonged to the on-board and service equipment of the German Panzer III and Panzer IV tanks. The model is in 1:35, the most widespread modeling scale. It is not a vehicle kit but a faithful accessory for dioramas and superdetailing.
The jack serves as part of the stowed tools on the hull of a tank, or as a separate element of a service scene where the crew lifts the vehicle while changing road wheels or tracks. The fine resin casting replaces the simplified plastic parts.
Wash the part free of uncured print resin residue, cut off the print supports and clean up the surfaces. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). A metallic look comes from a dark base with a hint of rust and oil stains.
The set holds only the resin accessory. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
