An injection-molded plastic model of the German Jagdpanther (Sd.Kfz.173) tank destroyer in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Dragon, in the late version. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; for the exact contents of the package, go by the enclosed instructions.
The Jagdpanther was a tank destroyer built on the proven chassis of the Panther tank. In a low, steeply sloped armored casemate it carried the massive 88mm PaK 43 gun, one of the most effective anti-tank guns of the Second World War. The combination of a low silhouette, good protection and a barrel with great penetrating power made it a feared opponent; it was deployed above all on the Eastern Front, in the Ardennes and in Normandy.
First finish the running gear and the underside of the hull. The large sloped surfaces of the casemate are a rewarding area for three-tone camouflages: lay them on with an airbrush with soft transitions. The late version as a rule does not call for Zimmerit. Washes will accentuate the welds and the edges, and pigments and a dry brush will add mud and dust effects as well as scuffed metal on the tracks and the massive barrel.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
