The M109 self-propelled howitzer is an American tracked artillery vehicle that entered service in the 1960s and, in a series of upgraded versions, serves to this day with many armies. Its 155 mm caliber makes it one of the most widespread self-propelled howitzers of Western design. A faithfully executed barrel markedly improves the overall look of a finished model, because it is one of the most conspicuous features of the vehicle.
Clean the part of any remaining casting gates and degrease it. Attach it to the vehicle with super glue (cyanoacrylate), which reliably bonds metal and resin to plastic. Before gluing, check the fit with the turret and adjust the seating if need be. Then spray the barrel with a base color and tie the shade in with the rest of the model.
This is a standalone detail accessory. The model of the vehicle itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
