A resin detail set of replacement front wheels with the characteristic chevron tread pattern that appeared on the M3A1 half-track carrier. It replaces the wheels from the box and adds a crisp tread as well as a realistic profile. This is an aftermarket detail in 1:35 scale, not a kit. It is supplied unpainted.
The wheels replace the less successful plastic parts and raise the credibility of the running gear. A resin casting allows a finer rendering of the tread and also lets the load be suggested (a deformation at the point of contact with the road), if the set contains such a wheel.
Wash the parts and separate them from the casting blocks, then sand the mating surface flat (with respiratory protection). Glue the wheels with cyanoacrylate glue. Reproduce the rubber with a dark gray color (not black) and bring the tread out with dust pigments.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
