An injection-molded plastic kit of the American light tank M551 Sheridan in its Vietnam War form, 1:35 scale. The set contains photo-etched parts and link-and-length tracks and offers a range of optional parts. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The M551 Sheridan is an American light reconnaissance tank introduced at the end of the 1960s. It stood out for its low weight and for armament combining a gun with a launcher for guided missiles. It was deployed in Vietnam from 1969, where its mobility in difficult terrain proved itself, although it was vulnerable to mines.
First finish the running gear and the interior, and only then close the hull. Glue the plastic with thin cement for plastic and the fine photo-etched parts with super glue. After spraying the base color with an airbrush, apply the decals onto a gloss coat and finally create the mud and dust effects with washes and pigments to suit the Vietnamese battlefield.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
