Royal Model 1:35 Marder III Ausf. H, Part 2

This is an aftermarket detail set, not a kit of the vehicle. The package contains photo-etched (brass) parts and cast resin sections intended to upgrade a plastic model of the German Marder III Ausf. H tank destroyer in 1:35 scale. The item numbered Part 2 follows on from the previous set and completes further areas of the build. It follows the dimensions of the Italeri kit.

What the set is for

The photo-etch replaces coarse plastic parts with thin-walled metal elements (grilles, handles, brackets, small fittings) and the resin adds finely cast detail that injection-molded plastic cannot capture. The result is a more faithful and finer model.

Building tips

Before gluing, wash the mold release residue off the resin parts and cut them from the casting blocks. Bend the photo-etch on a bending tool or over a sharp edge and join it with super glue (cyanoacrylate), or solder it. Work with respiratory protection while sanding.
