A 3D-printed resin main rotor head (unfolded rotor) for the MH-60L, UH-60A and HH-60 in 1:35 scale by Reskit. A replacement rotor in the flight position for Black Hawk family kits — it is not a model of the helicopter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detailed 3D-printed resin rotor set, not a model of the helicopter. The set replaces the main rotor in 1:35 scale on machines of the Black Hawk family (MH-60L, UH-60A, HH-60). It is the unfolded version — the blades are in the normal flight position, spread into a star, unlike the folded variant with the blades swung back for parking. 3D printing captures the fine detail of the rotor head, the pitch links and the blade hinges better than a plastic molding can. The set is made by the Ukrainian firm Reskit.
Spray the parts with a primer and only then with paint. Paint the rotor head in a dark metallic shade and the blades after the subject, with their striking colored markings on the tips. A wash brings out the mechanism of the head and a fine drybrush picks out the edges.
For modelers building the Black Hawk in 1:35 scale (typically the Kitty Hawk or Academy kits) who want to raise one of the most conspicuous details of the helicopter. Working with 3D-printed resin assumes experience.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package. Use a respirator and ventilate when sanding resin.
