A set of replacement wheels in 1:35 scale for the model of the Opel Blitz truck from the Italeri kit. It replaces the wheels supplied in the box and raises the level of detail without touching the rest of the build.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Opel Blitz was a German truck of the three-ton class which during the Second World War served for supply, for carrying troops and as a chassis for all kinds of purpose-built bodies. It is among the most frequently built wheeled vehicles of the period, and on a model its wheels are clearly visible, so a difference in detail shows on them at once.
Replacement wheels in 1:35 scale intended for the Opel Blitz kit from Italeri. They replace the wheels supplied in the kit. Try the seating dry before gluing and adjust the seating surfaces as needed, so that the model stands level on all its wheels.
Cut away surplus material with a sharp blade a short distance from the part and sand the remainder carefully, so that the shape of the tread is preserved. Wash and degrease the parts before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold on them well. It pays to spray the tire and the rim separately and to bring out the transition between them with a dark wash; a dry brush on the edges of the tread will then draw out the texture of the rubber. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts; cyanoacrylate holds reliably. The particular assembly procedure is in the manufacturer's instructions.
For modelers who build German military vehicles in 1:35 scale and want to improve one of the most conspicuous places on a model with a single step. It is an add-on set, not a standalone model: the kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
