This is a resin accessory in 1:35 scale from the Polish brand PANZER ART, not a model in its own right. The set represents the commander's cupola for the early Panther Ausf. D and serves as a more accurate and more detailed replacement for the part from the base kit.
The cupola of the early Panther has a distinctive shape with vision slots in the sides, and injection-molded plastic does not always capture it faithfully. The resin casting offers sharper edges, finer detail and a truer profile, and so it raises the level of the finished model exactly where the turret is most visible.
Wash the mold release agent off the part, cut off the casting block and dry-fit it into the opening in the turret; adjust it slightly by sanding if needed, with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Priming is recommended before the details are closed up, followed by weathering with washes and pigments.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin casting. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
