A set of replacement hubs (centers) for all-steel road wheels of 80 cm diameter for the Panther Ausf. G tank in 1:35 scale. It is a detail accessory made by 3D printing from hard resin that holds the parts for one side of the vehicle. The set is intended as a way of sharpening up plastic models of the Panther Ausf. G with all-steel wheels.
Late Panthers received all-steel road wheels without a rubber tire. Precisely shaped hubs with a faithful rendering of the bolts and the lightening holes markedly lift the look of the suspension, which is clearly visible on a finished model. The set does not replace the whole model; it only completes the centers of the wheels.
Wash the residue off the parts and separate them from the print supports, doing any sanding with your airways protected. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The suspension is rewarding to weather: after the base color add a dark wash in the recesses, a dry brush on the edges and dust or mud pigments to suit the setting; finish the wheels only once the tracks are on.
This is an accessory for a plastic model, not a complete kit. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
