The detail set 1:35 Pz. Kpfw 35 (t) / Skoda LT vz. 35 is intended for a model of the Czechoslovak LT vz. 35 light tank, which the Wehrmacht took over after 1939 under the designation Pz.Kpfw. 35(t).
Responsibility details are not available.
The metal parts serve to improve a finished kit of the Czechoslovak light tank, which in German service was called the Pz.Kpfw. 35(t). They are used mainly to replace thin sheet-metal elements that cannot be rendered faithfully in injection-molded plastic. You have to obtain the vehicle itself separately.
The LT vz. 35 was created at the arms works in Plzen in the middle of the 1930s as a light tank for the Czechoslovak army. It was notable for the pneumatic servo systems of its steering and transmission, which made it easier to operate but were sensitive to frost and to maintenance. The main weapon was a 37 mm gun. After 1939 Germany took the machines over and deployed them in Poland, in France and at the start of the campaign against the Soviet Union. Further examples served in Romania under the designation R-2, in Slovakia and in Bulgaria. On the Eastern Front the type was no longer adequate and moved to training and rear-area duties.
First work out which plastic elements you will remove, so that you do not needlessly damage the surrounding surface. Make the bends slowly and always over a straight edge. Attach the small items with thin cyanoacrylate glue fed from a needle. A dry brush sits well on the riveted surface of the vehicle and emphasizes the edges and the rivets.
The accessories are supplied unpainted; the chemicals and tools have to be your own.
