The Pz.Kpfw.III Ausf.D was one of the early versions of the German medium tank Panzer III, built in limited numbers only. It was armed with a 3.7 cm gun and machine guns and had a crew of five. It differed from the later production versions above all in the design of the running gear suspension and in the shape of the commander's cupola. It was used in small numbers at the start of the war, among other places in the campaign in Poland in 1939 and in Norway in 1940.
Cut the parts off the sprues and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. On an armored vehicle, assemble and paint the running gear and the interior items before you close up the hull. The individual track links and the fine photo-etched additions will call for patience. After spraying a primer and the base color with an airbrush, pick out the details with a wash and build up the patina of mud and dust effects with pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
