A plastic kit of the German Panzer III Ausf.M medium tank with side plates (Schurzen) in 1:35 scale by Dragon. The model offers fine molding, detailed running gear and the additional armor plates that give the silhouette its characteristic look.
The Panzer III Ausf.M was one of the late variants of the German Panzer III medium tank of the Second World War period. It carried a 50 mm gun and differed from the earlier versions in small production modifications. The Schurzen side plates protected the sides of the hull and the turret against anti-tank weapons and became a typical feature of late German tanks.
Finish the running gear before closing the hull. Use liquid cement for plastic and seat the Schurzen plates carefully. A primer, an airbrush and weathering with mud and dust effects are recommended; washes will bring out the rivets, hinges and the detail of the armor.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
