Plus Model 1:35 Refugees is a resin set of civilian figures for experienced modelers, intended to liven up diorama scenes in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set brings civilian figures of refugees in 1:35 scale, cast in quality resin. It is not military equipment but a genre accessory that gives a diorama a human dimension and tells the story of the rear areas, of evacuations and of a population caught up in war. The castings are finely worked out, with realistic draping of the clothing and a natural stance. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The figures capture fleeing civilians with their personal belongings, a typical image of the European battlefields of the 20th century. Such figures are a rewarding element of realistic scenes, because they contrast with military equipment and give a subject both emotion and narrative context. Civilian dress offers freedom in painting, because it is not bound by uniform regulations.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water, to remove the residue of mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off carefully with a saw or a snap-off knife, sand the surfaces and protect your airways while sanding. Bond the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate); for a longer open time you can use the gel version. Apply a primer under the paint; both the flesh and the fabrics come off well with layering and fine oil glazes to deepen the shadows.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
