A figure of a Russian tanker in a resting pose, 1:35 scale. A figure that will add both scale and action to a model of an armored vehicle.
Responsibility details are not available.
A figure of a Russian tanker caught in a moment of rest, in 1:35 scale. A resting pose is more valuable on a diorama than it seems. While a figure in motion requires the scene to explain that motion, a resting soldier works anywhere: by a parked vehicle, on its hull, at a field kitchen or out of the way behind a building.
It looks most natural by a model of an armored vehicle, where it also fills the role of a scale. A viewer only becomes aware of the height of a vehicle in comparison with a person, so even a single figure changes the impression a whole model makes. It also finds a use in a display case beside a standalone kit, where it replaces a whole diorama. In size it matches the usual kits of vehicles in 1:35 scale.
Before painting, wash the figure in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap and let it dry perfectly. A thin coat of primer follows, on which the places to be sanded back are visible. Build the clothing from a darker base coat toward lighter layers, deepen the folds with a glaze and lift the highest edges with a dry brush. On the face proceed sparingly, as an expression is usually ruined by overpainting the eyes. The overalls of a crew tend to be dirty with fuel and oil, so it pays to go over the knees, the elbows and the sleeves with a dark glaze and to add a glossy hint only in small patches.
The package contains the figure. The kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
