The follow-on photo-etched set in 1:35 for the radio armored car Sd.Kfz. 232 covers the areas for which there was no room in the first package. Metal parts from the Italian production of Royal Model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The continuation of the detailed refinement of the German eight-wheeled car is devoted to the places for which there was no room in the previous package. The metal parts will replace thick plastic equivalents where the thickness of the material is visible at first glance. The enclosed parts assume a finished plastic subject in the same scale and matching experience on the builder's part.
The 232 version arose as a radio car for reconnaissance units and differs from its siblings above all in its communications equipment. Later examples were given a lower star-shaped antenna instead of the cage antenna, because the conspicuous frame above the hull attracted gunners and got in the way when driving among trees. The car had eight driven and at the same time steered wheels and in the desert it gained the reputation of a machine that gets far forward but must not run into anything heavier than a machine gun.
For clean edges a bending tool for photo-etched metal is the surest thing, but two razor blades and a flat smooth object will serve as well. First try a part dry in place and only then fix it: bent metal does not come back without traces. Form longer strips gradually, bit by bit, never in one movement along the whole length.
The package does not contain the plastic base, glues or coating materials.
