The set of add-on parts 1:35 Sd. Kfz. 251D (tamiya) from the Italian brand Royal Model serves to refine a model of the German half-track carrier, not to replace it.

The package from the Italian brand Royal Model contains parts with which an already built kit of the half-track armored personnel carrier in 1:35 scale is improved. The manufacturer combines cast pieces with thin etched sheet in it, so it covers the inside of the hull as well as small equipment on the outside.
The last and most numerous version of the German half-track came about in 1943, when production was simplified for the sake of both haste and material. The rear changed most: a sloping wall replaced the earlier faceted shape and the equipment bins became part of the sides. The vehicle carried infantry, engineers and reconnaissance troops, served as a command post and, in dozens of conversions, stayed in service until the end of the war.
Finish the inside before you close the hull, otherwise you will no longer reach it. Bend the etched strips over a sharp edge and attach them with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue applied with a pin. Degrease the cast pieces and give them a primer, otherwise the paint will flake off in time. The interior comes out well when a dark wash is drawn over it after painting and the edges are lightly gone over with a dry brush in a lighter shade.
The carrier itself has to be bought as well; these are only the parts for finishing it off.
