A set of seven precisely turned metal barrel tips for the Soviet Degtyarev DT and DP machine guns in 1:35 scale from the Polish maker Aber. It is not a model but a detail accessory replacing the plastic muzzles. Metal holds the faithful shape of the cooling jacket and allows a finely drilled muzzle.
The 7.62 mm machine guns designed by Degtyarev were part of the basic Soviet armament. The DP version served with the infantry, while the DT was adapted for armored vehicles as a hull and turret weapon. Seven pieces in the set let you fit several positions or several models at once.
The set is intended for 1:35 models of Soviet armored and infantry equipment with DT or DP machine guns. Trim off the plastic muzzles and glue the metal parts on with super glue. Degrease the surface before painting and apply a primer.
An accessory for a build, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
