Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German StuG III Ausf.G assault gun from the Alkett plant of October 1943 in 1:35 scale from the maker MiniArt. It is a detailed kit with a full interior: according to the manufacturer it holds richly divided parts, photo-etched elements, individual track links, clear parts and hatches that can be assembled open or closed. The exact number of parts and marking options is not stated here.
The StuG III (Sturmgeschütz III) was a German assault gun built on the chassis of the Pz.Kpfw. III tank. In a low closed superstructure without a rotating turret it carried a 7.5 cm gun and was originally meant to support infantry; as the war went on it was increasingly used as an effective tank destroyer as well. The Ausf.G version was the most widespread. Vehicles from the Alkett production of autumn 1943 were marked by the modifications of the period, among them the cast gun mantlet known as the Saukopf. They were deployed in numbers above all on the Eastern Front.
This is a more demanding kit with a full interior, so proceed carefully by the instructions. Paint and assemble the interior of the fighting compartment before you close the superstructure up, otherwise only part of the detail will show. The individual track links and the photo-etched parts call for patience; bond the photo-etched elements with super glue. Apply primer and paints with an airbrush, and put the decals on over a gloss varnish. Build the patina with a wash into the recesses and with pigments for mud and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
