The plastic kit MiniArt SU-76M with Crew (Special Edition) in 1:35 scale - the Soviet self-propelled gun of the Second World War, with figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detailed injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet SU-76M self-propelled gun from MiniArt in the Special Edition boxing. The set contains the vehicle itself, a set of crew figures, 76 mm artillery rounds with their ammunition boxes, photo-etched parts and decal sheets for several marking options. It is an extensive kit with a large number of parts, typical of MiniArt, and suits rather more experienced modelers.
The SU-76M was a light Soviet self-propelled gun, built from 1943 on a lengthened chassis of the T-70 light tank. In its open fighting compartment it carried the 76.2 mm ZIS-3 gun and served mainly for direct fire support of the infantry and for destroying lightly armored targets. It was among the most numerously built Soviet armored vehicles of the war, and crews took to it for its simplicity and reliability.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the inside of the open hull first, while they are still easy to reach. The open fighting compartment leaves the interior and the crew on view, so careful shading pays off. For weathering, use dark washes in the recesses and dust or mud pigments on the running gear and the underside.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
