A detailed photo-etched set in 1:35 for the Soviet SU-85 and SU-122 self-propelled guns makes both versions built on the chassis of the T-34 tank more accurate. Metal parts from Italy from the brand Royal Model.
Responsibility details are not available.
One package, two Soviet self-propelled artillery versions on the chassis of the T-34. The metal parts make more accurate above all the places where the real thickness of the material cannot be achieved with plastic moldings. Use assumes a matching kit in the same scale; the set by itself will not stand in for any vehicle.
The SU-122 came first: in a low box superstructure on the hull of the T-34 it was given a howitzer of 122 mm caliber and was to destroy fortifications and infantry. When it turned out that the Red Army needed direct fire against tanks above all, the SU-85 with an anti-armor gun of 85 mm caliber arose on the same basis. The two versions are told apart by the shape of the front shield and the length of the barrel. The eighty-five served from the fall of 1943 and in production it was later replaced by the more powerful SU-100.
Wipe the finished metal parts with alcohol and let them dry thoroughly; grease from the fingers is the main reason why a finish on photo-etched metal cracks and peels. Apply the base in a thin layer, so that the etched details, which on sheet are often only a few hundredths of a millimeter deep, are not clogged.
In the package you will find metal parts, not a plastic base, glues or chemicals.
