The early form of the Tiger I differs from the later one in dozens of small details, and the set 1:35 Tiger I Early version helps to capture them. It is cut for the Tamiya kit.

With this item Royal Model is aiming at builders for whom the plastic form of the hatches, grilles and brackets is not enough. The set is cut for the Tamiya kit, and that is an essential piece of information here, because an identically named item from the same maker exists for a kit from another brand as well and the parts cannot be interchanged.
The heavy tank Tiger I appeared at the front in 1942 and its oldest machines differ from the later ones at first glance. They carried a drum-shaped commander's cupola with vision slits, road wheels faced with rubber, massive air cleaners at the rear of the hull and a full set of front lights. The cannon of 88 mm caliber destroyed opponents at a range from which the Allies could not answer it, and it was precisely the early machines that fought at Leningrad and in Tunisia.
Start with the features glued on flat and only then deal with the bent assemblies: the opposite order leads to knocking a finished detail off with your elbow. A thin grab handle can be shaped around a drill bit of a suitable diameter. The dark yellow coat of early manufacture looks better when it is broken up with lighter patches on the horizontal surfaces.
The parts arrive raw, without a coat of paint. The base model and the modeling chemicals are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
