A set of resin heads of American soldiers in 1:35 scale, with which you easily bring mass-produced plastic figures to life.
Responsibility details are not available.
Replacement heads for figures of the American army of the Second World War, cast in polyurethane resin. Changing the head is the quickest way to give a mass-produced plastic figure an expression of its own. The face draws the viewer's eye sooner than anything else in a whole scene.
American units fought from Tunisia through Italy and Normandy all the way to the Elbe, and their appearance differed according to where they served: a net or a cover over the M1 helmet, a knitted cap under it, a leather helmet on the crews of armored vehicles. Different types of heads make it possible to put together a squad in which no two soldiers resemble each other, and it is exactly that which lifts a scene away from the contents of the box. A small change gives a scene a different charge at once.
Cut the original head off with a saw at the level of the collar and carefully widen the opening in the torso with a drill bit or a ball burr. Free the new part from the casting block and sand the surface so that the head sits at a natural angle. Tilting or turning it does more for the final impression than any small detail. Cyanoacrylate glue takes care of the bond; level the gap at the neck with putty. Paint the skin over a light base, otherwise the resin shows through.
In the package you will find only the castings of the heads; you have to have the torsos from elsewhere.
