About product

US Army jeep driver in 1:35 scale (Royal Model)

A resin figure in 1:35 scale from the Italian brand Royal Model. It shows an American soldier posed as the driver of a light utility vehicle (a jeep) of the Second World War. The polyurethane casting faithfully captures the cut of the US Army uniform and the seated pose behind the wheel.

The real subject

The light utility vehicle became a symbol of the US Army in the Second World War and accompanied Allied units on every front. The seated driver figure is meant to be fitted into the cab of a matching vehicle and will bring any Allied diorama to life.

Building and painting tips

Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the parting lines. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting; with a seated pose, first dry-fit the legs and arms against the seat and the steering wheel of the vehicle.

Who it is for

  • Builders of Allied dioramas with light vehicles
  • Figure painters interested in US Army uniforms
  • Modelers who work with resin

The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
