The newer form of headsets is offered by the photo-etched set 1:35 U.S. Microphones new type, intended for figures of contemporary American crews.
Responsibility details are not available.
This photo-etched set in 1:35 scale brings the newer type of headset. It replaces coarse castings on figures of contemporary American crews and suits everywhere that a figure is visible close up, that is, mainly at open hatches and turret structures.
Helmets and communication equipment have gone through a transformation since the days of the older conflicts: the microphone has become shorter and moved closer to the mouth, the earphones have been enclosed because of noise and the lead has been hidden under the harness. Small shapes of this kind can be rendered believably in 1:35 scale only in flat metal, because any casting would come out disproportionately thick. The difference is best seen on the profile of the head from behind.
Leave the finest pieces on the sheet and paint them before separating them, and you will save yourself a search across the floor. Use a primer intended for metals, or the surface finish will come off during handling. For the separating, get a scalpel with a new blade ready and bend in small steps, so that the material does not crack. Seat the finished part with a drop the size of a pinhead and hold it with tweezers until the glue sets.
The set includes only metal parts with instructions, so prepare the other equipment yourself.
