U.S. Tank Crew NW Europe — Special Edition 1:35 is a set of unassembled plastic figures of an American tank crew from MiniArt.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of injection-molded plastic figures of an American tank crew as it appeared in northwestern Europe during the Second World War, in 1:35 scale. The package contains five figures along with weapons, equipment and decals. It is a special edition with additional gear.
The figures capture the crew of American tanks in the late phase of the war on the Western Front. The poses and the uniforms match the typical look of tank crews during the fighting in Normandy and the advance across Europe in 1944 and 1945.
Cut the parts from the sprues, clean up the mold seams and bond them with liquid cement for plastic. For convincing uniforms a primer base, shading with a wash and highlighting with a dry brush work well; the faces benefit from a skin-tone technique. The set works nicely as a way of bringing a diorama with a tank model to life.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
