The UB-32A-24 rocket pod in 1:35 scale as an accessory to a plastic kit. It brings a more precise rendering of the face and the lug than the part from the box offers.
Responsibility details are not available.
The pods of the UB-32 family rank among the most widespread Soviet pods for unguided 57 mm rockets. Inside the cylindrical body are thirty-two tubular launch tubes whose muzzles create a regular pattern on the face of the pod; the rockets leave from there singly or in a whole salvo. From the rear the pod is closed by a cover and from above it carries a lug by which it is hung on a pylon. The UB-32A-24 version is one of the variants of this family.
The set belongs among accessories to a kit in 1:35 scale and it replaces the parts from the box with a version with a finer surface. The range of parts and the number of pieces in the package are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry off completely. Cut off the excess material with a sharp blade a little way from the part and only then sand the remainder; a cut right up against the part easily takes away from the edge of the face. Use cyanoacrylate glue for the joining, because cement for polystyrene is not suitable for this material. Apply the paint over a base coat in several thin layers and accentuate the muzzles of the tubes with a dark shade.
The accessory will be appreciated by builders of combat vehicles of Eastern design who want the underwing armament on the same level as the rest of the model. A less experienced modeler will manage it too.
The kit of the carrier, the paints and the glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
