This is a colored 3D-printed interior of the Bell UH-1Y utility helicopter in 1:35 scale in the small version. It is a colored three-dimensional interior printed on decal paper. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory that replaces the flat or simplified cockpit elements of the base kit. It is the smaller, simplified version of the set, aimed at the key visible elements of the interior, above all the instrument panel, the consoles and the side panels.
The Bell UH-1Y Venom is a modern twin-engine utility helicopter of the United States Marine Corps, developed from the Huey family. It has a four-blade rotor, more powerful engines and updated avionics, and it serves for transport, support and liaison.
The elements are cut out, dipped in lukewarm water for about 15 seconds and slid off the backing paper onto their place in the cockpit. They have no adhesive layer of their own and hold on gloss varnish (Future or Klear, Tamiya X-22), so a matte base is a mistake. Do not use a decal softener; its chemicals attack the printed resin and destroy the element. On broken-up spots a drop of cyanoacrylate glue and patient work with tweezers help. Painting the instruments is usually unnecessary, because the panel is already printed realistically.
This is an add-on decal set, not a standalone model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
