About product

US Tank Commander in the Turret 1:35 (CMK)

A resin figure in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker CMK. It depicts a US tank commander leaning out of the turret hatch in the ordinary field uniform of World War II. Intended to be fitted into the turret of an armored vehicle; it is supplied unglued and unpainted.

The real subject

The figure is based on the gear of US tank crews of World War II and is rendered as a half figure for the turret hatch. It brings a scene with a US armored vehicle of that time to life.

Building and painting tips

The casting consists of several resin parts, with the head and arms usually separate. Before gluing, wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and level the mating surfaces so that the figure sits in the hatch. The parts are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue; sand with respiratory protection. We recommend a primer and acrylic paints by brush or airbrush; washes and a dry brush bring out the face and the uniform.

Who it is for

  • Modelers of US World War II armor
  • Builders of dioramas in 1:35 scale
  • Collectors of resin figures
  • More advanced modelers working with resin

The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
