US soldier in a winter coat with an M1 rifle, Belgium 1944, 1:35 — a resin figure from CMK.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker CMK. It depicts a US Army soldier in a winter coat with an M1 rifle during the fighting in Belgium at the turn of 1944 and 1945. Suitable for a winter diorama as well as display on its own; it is supplied unglued and unpainted.
The fighting in the Ardennes in Belgium took place in freezing winter conditions at the end of 1944. The M1 Garand rifle was the standard semi-automatic weapon of US infantry. The figure captures a soldier in warm winter clothing with this rifle.
The casting consists of several resin parts, with the head, arms and weapon usually separate. Before gluing, wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and level the surfaces. The parts are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue; sand with respiratory protection. We recommend a primer and acrylic paints by brush or airbrush; washes and a dry brush bring the winter clothing to life.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
