US tank commander in the turret, winter 1944, 1:35 — a resin figure from CMK in winter clothing.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker CMK. It depicts a US tank commander leaning out of the turret hatch, dressed in the winter gear of late 1944. Intended to be fitted into the turret of an armored vehicle; it is supplied unglued and unpainted.
The winter version captures the gear of US Army tank crews during the fighting at the end of 1944 in Western Europe, when freezing conditions prevailed. The figure is rendered as a half figure for the turret hatch.
The casting consists of several resin parts, with the head and arms usually separate. Before gluing, wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and level the mating surfaces so that the figure sits well in the hatch. The parts are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue; sand with respiratory protection. We recommend a primer and acrylic paints by brush or airbrush; washes and a dry brush bring the winter clothing to life.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
