MiniArt 1:35 WE210 workable tracks is a set of plastic individual track links of the WE210 type for models of medium tanks and self-propelled guns on the M3/M4 chassis.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from MiniArt contains a complete run of plastic (injection-molded) individual tracks of the WE210 type in 1:35 scale for one vehicle. The tracks are workable - once assembled they stay flexible link by link, so they wrap faithfully around the road wheels and the rollers with a realistic sag. They replace rubber band tracks or the tracks from the box with a more detailed rendering.
The WE210 track type was used on American medium tanks and derived vehicles - the M3 Lee/Grant, early M4 Shermans, the Canadian RAM, the Sexton self-propelled gun and the Kangaroo carrier. These were the rubber-block tracks typical of Allied vehicles of the Second World War.
Cut the links carefully from the sprues, clean up the gate marks and assemble them according to the instructions. Apply plastic cement sparingly so that the pins stay free to move. It is best to fit the assembled run over the running gear before the glue has fully set, so that it beds in correctly. The metallic sheen of the tracks is created with graphite or pigments.
The set contains tracks only, not the vehicle model, paints or glue.
