About product

Firma49 1:35 wheels for the Schwimmwagen (wide, underinflated)

This is a resin set of replacement wheels, not a model of the vehicle. It contains the wide wheels of the German Schwimmwagen amphibious vehicle rendered with the effect of a slightly underinflated tire that sits realistically on the ground. The set replaces the wheels of the base kit in 1:35 scale and increases the impression of the weight of the vehicle.

Use

  • Separate the wheels from the casting blocks and clean the mating surfaces up.
  • Wash them in lukewarm water with detergent to remove the mold release agent.
  • Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
  • The underinflated effect shows best after painting and a light dusting of weathering.

Who it is for

  • Builders of German Second World War vehicles in 1:35 scale.
  • Modelers who want the tires to sit realistically on the ground.

This is an accessory. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
