Windscreen Jeep Willys - covered (1:35) is a resin accessory of the covered windscreen for the American Willys light utility vehicle.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail accessory in 1:35 scale from the Czech manufacturer Firma49. It represents the windscreen of the American Willys light utility vehicle folded down and covered with a tarpaulin. It is NOT a vehicle model: it is a replacement part with which you replace the windscreen from the base kit and gain the faithful field look of a vehicle ready to drive off-road.
The Willys MB, known to the wider public as the Jeep, was an American light utility vehicle used en masse in the Second World War. The crews often folded the windscreen down onto the hood and pulled a protective tarpaulin over it, to protect the glass and to cut down reflections, and that is exactly the state the accessory captures.
Wash the mold release agent off the part, separate the casting block and bond it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the tarpaulin in the shade of the vehicle and bring out the fabric folds by lightening the edges and with a fine wash. The accessory also suits dioramas with a parked or camouflaged vehicle.
Supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. The vehicle, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
