This is a resin detail set, not a kit of the vehicle. It holds a faithfully rendered wooden stowage box with the relief of planks and, with it, a photo-etched metal bracket for mounting it on a vehicle. The rendering follows the StuG III Ausf. F assault gun of the Leibstandarte (LSSAH) unit. The combination of a resin body and fine photo-etch ensures a realistic look and thin mounts.
Boxes stowed on the superstructure give a model of an armored vehicle a lively, authentic look. The set replaces simplified plastic parts or completes a vehicle where the base kit has no box.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent and separate them from the supports; bend the photo-etched bracket according to the drawing and glue it on. Join everything with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The wood comes out with painting in brown tones and a wash flowed into the joints.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
