This set brings a resin wooden stowage rack with carefully worked wood texture for the German medium tank Pz.Kpfw. III in versions L to N in 1:35 scale. The parts are made by Elefant using 3D printing and resin casting. This is not a model of the tank but a detail accessory that enriches the stowage and the equipment on the hull.
German tank crews commonly lashed all sorts of loads, crates and tools onto the hull; wooden racks and pallets were among the typical items that break up the bare surfaces of a model. The faithfully printed wood structure stands out once it is painted and treated with an oil or a wash, which brings out the growth rings and the joints.
Clean the resin residue off the part, cut off any casting block and glue it with cyanoacrylate. We recommend painting the wood in layers (a base, oil glazes, a final dry highlight) so that the texture stands out. Protect your airways while sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
